Live measurement
A large RMS reading and a real-time graph, driven by the device's built-in accelerometer, track all three axes plus the combined magnitude, sampled at 100 Hz in m/s² or g, with a choice of 10, 30 or 60-second windows. A null-offset calibration against a resting state keeps the baseline honest before you start.
Recordings and FFT analysis
Every recording captures RMS, peak, peak-to-peak and crest-factor values, with zoom, pan and a cursor on the graph. Pro adds an FFT spectrum with a peak list of dominant frequencies, including an RPM figure — useful for tracking down an imbalance in a washing machine, a pump or a fan.
Where it earns its keep
Documenting construction-site vibrations near a property, balancing a washing machine, comparing a pump or fan before and after maintenance, finding resonances on a 3D printer, or documenting how sensitive goods were handled in transport. The reliable measuring range is roughly 0.1–50 Hz, and the app has its own in-app page laying out exactly what that means and where it stops.

MeterWorks Vibrometer is not a calibrated measuring instrument and must not be used for safety-critical, occupational-safety, or court-evidentiary purposes. Digitalbucht is the sole proprietorship of Emil Deak, based in Wülfrath, Germany.
Data and privacy
The app uses the device's motion sensors. Recorded values are processed and stored only on your device — no audio recordings are made or transmitted. On start, or in the "More" area, it anonymously checks with Apple whether the sibling MeterWorks apps are available in your storefront; no personal data is sent. Exporting or sharing a recording only happens on your own action. No adverts, no tracking.
